According to the Turkish Elevator Maintenance and Operation Regulation, monthly periodic maintenance is mandatory for elevators, and the annual official periodic inspection is a legal obligation.
What is Done in Monthly Maintenance?
- Rope and friction sheave inspection
- Motor, gearbox and oil level check

- Door drive and safety circuit inspection

Annual Official Inspection
In the annual inspection carried out by A-type inspection bodies, the elevator is given a green, yellow or red label. Elevators with a red label must be taken out of service.
